Diane Lawrence, Ph.D.

Diane Lawrence is a Program Officer in the Division of AIDS at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health. She oversees a portfolio of grants and contracts related to basic HIV research, including Martin Delaney Collaboratories for HIV Cure Research, the NIH AIDS Reagent Program, and technology development for self-test HIV diagnostics. She also has served on several NIH committees related to career development and research training. Dr. Lawrence received her B.A. degree in Psychology and Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester.
